There are two ways to sell: Through Fear or Benefits
Take a look at the election, the bailout, Iraq, global warming---just about everything big happening these days. Notice that fear is used as the primary means of persuasion. Stumble into a conversation about the Presidential election and the topic of fear quickly comes up. McCain scares me. Obama scares me. You'll hear one of these statements almost every time you ask someone about their leanings in this election.
Do we have that much to fear?
I wonder what other areas of our decision making is dominated by fear. If fear, rather than reason, controls so much of American thinking, I doubt the best possible ... >>full...

Companies that exceed and individuals who are iconoclasts are the ones who see and accept fear while they analayze and vision is different from the crowd. Breaking from the group is scary - evolution teaches us the animal who breaks from the croud gets EATEN!
