Consider this:

Portland, Oregon
"A patient treated for agonizing abdominal pain received this surprising news in the hospital's paperwork: "Based on your visit today, we know you are pregnant." Surprising indeed for 71-year-old John Grady Pippen.The staff at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach gave the retired mechanic and logger the ridiculously happy news this month, along with some pain pills.

Doctors Take Note: 57% of population Believes in Miracles




An eye-opening survey reveals widespread belief that divine intervention can revive dying patients. And, researchers said, doctors "need to be prepared to deal with families who are waiting for a miracle."


"More than half of randomly surveyed adults — 57 percent — said God's intervention could save a family member even if physicians declared treatment would be futile. And nearly three-quarters said patients have a right to demand such treatment."

The typical doctor's office almost always has one fiercely loyal employee. This is the one who "protects" the doctor. She's the one that blocks your calls. She's the one that will handle your question for you---no need to talk with the doctor.  Sometimes she's nice. Sometimes she's very snippy. Sometimes she's the doctor's wife.

If you run a medical practice, be very careful of this person.
